Geographical location, health status, ethnic background strongly determine the access to better schooling, peer social life and integration to adulthood society. How to overcome these challenges when you are young? Who will support you and how you will manage by yourself? How do youth organisations prepare youth to adulthood when there are some extra challenges as well, such as living in a rural area, living with disability, having an ethnic background, what’s more, tackling with the short life-cycles of youth organisations?

The main objective of this project is to develop a special tandem on-line course for students in EDUC II alliance to promote virtual mobility with intention to collect a good knowledge and to develop relevant skills in actual lifelong learning realities in the context of employability and activer citizenship. Both topics offer a practice-based orientation to skills development in the scope of labour market demands and societal changes having been fairly influenced by changes from local to global. We therefore emphasize to highlight some topics for better understanding in some practical dimensions:
- employability developments in the context of work-based and workplace learning;
- the formation of active citizenship in the scope of learning cities and learning communities
We will also provide a good balance in between theory and practice and by establishing the theme, some of concrete issues will be raised to both topics students will be requested to reflect upon with special format and on-line tools.
Finally, students will have to submit an analytical paper to discuss some practical implication of either topic with lifelong learning dimensions be bridged to relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals.
