The aim of this course is to integrate and apply concepts from Geosciences, covering topics such as tectonics, sedimentology, mineralogy, geological resources, in the field. Through hands-on exploration, students will conduct observations, measurements and analyses to reconstruct the region’s geological history of the Pyrenees and examine the interactions between geodynamics and natural resources.
After the field course, students will explore further their field observations and discuss scientific papiers ingroups during lectures and seminars.

The aim of this course is to integrate and apply concepts from earth and environmental sciences, covering topics such as tectonics, sedimentology, geomorphology, geological resources, hydrology and geochemistry, in the field. Through hands-on exploration, students will conduct observations, measurements and analyses to reconstruct the region’s geological history and examine the interactions between tectonics, landscape evolution, and natural resources, as well as the environmental impact of resource exploitation.
