The course of Web Security and Malware analysis has the following goals
- Presenting the security mechanisms or web applications (with particular references to the various attack classes and their detection techniques).
- The main functionalities of malicious software (malware) through low-level code analysis (assembly code) carried out through reverse engineering techniques.
The course is divided into two modules – Web Security (October 7th – December 21st, 30 Hours. - 3 ECTS/CFU) and Malware Analysis (March-June, 30 hours – 3 ECTS/CFU) that can be taken separately.
Students from Masaryk University can take the two modules as two different exams, while students from University of Cagliari have to take both parts.- Lærer: Giorgio Giacinto
